Upward Intercultural Communication in Multinational Company: What Matters the Most

Effective communication is necessary at work, especially when it involves different cultures. To avoid cultural conflicts, parties involved in should realize the barriers hindering process. This research explored and mapped upward intercultural within multinational companies Indonesia factors contributing to those barriers. qualitative 16 employees from nine as informants. In this research, superiors subordinates are backgrounds. The informants of study were selected through a snowball approach, starting several an industrial area Central Java. contacted given questions such age, length employment, superior’s characteristics control variable. next step was interview using open-ended guides.
